Wellbeing & Self-Awareness
A calming, creative workshop to recharge, reflect, and explore what helps you feel well, in work and life.
Recent wellbeing research highlights that engaging in creative activities supports mental and physical health, reinforcing why creative practice matters for both personal resilience and wellbeing.
- The Guardian
In busy, high-demand environments, it’s easy to move through our days on autopilot — disconnected from how we’re really feeling and what we need to sustain our energy. This workshop creates intentional space to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with ourselves and each other.
Session Flow
This session supports individuals and teams to:
Build greater self-awareness and emotional insight
Notice patterns that affect energy, focus, and well-being
Strengthen presence, connection, and psychological safety
Develop simple, practical wellbeing practices that can be sustained at work.
Art Practice 1: Watercolour - Letting Go of Control
Using watercolour, participants explore flow, colour, and softness as a way to practise presence and release the need for perfection. The focus is on noticing sensation and emotion, rather than producing an outcome.
This process supports relaxation, emotional awareness, and the ability to stay present, skills that directly support wellbeing at work.
Personal and Group Reflection
How full is my cup right now?
What am I grateful for?
What energises me at work, and what drains me?
What support do I need — from myself and from others?
Art Practice 2: Diorama — My Leadership Landscape
Building a diorama introduces playfulness and perspective into the leadership conversation. Using simple materials, participants create a visual representation of their leadership landscape, bringing internal dynamics, challenges, and influences into a creative form.
This process is light, creative, and surprisingly insightful, allowing leaders to reflect on their inner world, relationships, and leadership impact.
Close & Wellbeing Charter
The session concludes with the creation of a simple wellbeing charter, using words, colours, or forms, that reflects what supports wellbeing individually or collectively at work.
Participants leave with one small, practical commitment to carry forward into their daily work.
Workshop Outcomes
Participants will:
Feel more grounded, calm, and clear-headed
Learn simple, creative practices to regulate stress and energy
Leave with practical commitments to support personal and collective well-being at work
I didn’t realise how much I was operating on autopilot until this workshop. The creative practices helped me slow down and notice what I actually needed, not just at work, but personally too. It was calming without being indulgent, and I left with simple practices I’ve genuinely kept using.”
